There seems to be a ton of arrests this weekend including larcenies, assaults and much more.

Milford's Unsolved Murders

After the June 11 arrest of Luis A. Rodriguez for the 2001 murder of Walnut Beach resident Kelsey Monahon, I got curious about other long-term unsolved homicides in Milford.

So, I began digging through the New Haven Register's archives; I looked at all the murders in Milford that we have on record (dating back to the 1940s) and I came up with a list of 9* unfortunate souls whose murders are unsolved.

Here are all the ones I could find in chronological order:

Name: Marshall Maxwell, 20, Easton
Arrest date: Sept. 19, 12 a.m..
Pending charge(s): Third-degree assault; second-degree strangulation; second-degree threatening; first-degree criminal trespass; disorderly conduct; possession of marijuana; possession of drug paraphernalia
Police say: On a call of a disturbance at an Elaine Road home, police discovered that Maxwell had entered his companion's home and started to choke her. Maxwell fled the home, but police located him nearby and found him in possession of marijuana.

Pending charge(s): Third-degree assault on a pregnant person; second degree threatening; disorderly conduct

Milford arrests include sexual assault and assault with pool stick

Sexual assault Milford Police arrested Destin Pervis-Pritchett, 23, after a complaint that he inappropriately touched a juvenile victim.

The alleged incident occurred on July 19 in Milford. Pervis-Pritchett is familiar with the victim, according to police.

He was charged with risk of injury and 4th-degree sexual assault and was released on a $25,000 bond.

Pool stick assault Police arrested Milford resident Justin Parsell, 19, for allegedly striking a patron of the Redwood Restaurant with a pool stick.
The alleged incident occurred on July 9 at the restaurant. The patron was transported to a local hospital for serious head injuries.
Parsell was charged with 3rd-degree assault and breach of peace. 
Threatening with a gun Police arrested Constantine Jordhamo, 47, of Trumbull after he allegedly threatened someone with a handgun.
The alleged incident occurred on Oct. 6. The victim allegedly met Jordhamo earlier in the evening and went to a storage facility that Jordhamo rents in Milford. …
