Woman allegedly fights police during DUI arrest
Police arrested a Milford woman on Sept. 14 for DUI and other alleged crimes following a severe accident.
The incident happened on July 20. Police received a complaint that a vehicle struck a utility pole on Naugatuck Avenue and that there was severe damage to the vehicle and pole.
Nancy Peters, 37, became combative as emergency responders attempted to remove her from her vehicle, police said. She allegedly kicked a an office during the incident.
Further investigation revealed she was operating the vehicle under the influence of alcohol, police said.
Peters was charged wit driving under the influence, failure to drive right and interfering with police.
