Live Oaks temporarily evacuated after gas release

Live Oaks Elementary School was evacuated for about 20 minutes Tuesday morning after a release valve on the outside of the building went off.

The gas company came out to the school to fix the problem, which didn't pose a danger to students and others inside, said Capt. Thomas Thornberg, fire spokesman.
