Here's what police are reporting for notable arrests from Thursday (all from Milford PD press release). 

Name: Loren Manes, 45, Milford
Arrest date: June 27, noon
Pending charge: two counts third-degree assault, second-degree larceny
Police say: They were called to a disturbance at a home on Wayland Road, and an investigation led them to accuse Manes of pushing his spouse to the ground and hitting the spouse's acquaintance.

After the June 11 arrest of Luis A. Rodriguez for the 2001 murder of Walnut Beach resident Kelsey Monahon, I got curious about other long-term unsolved homicides in Milford. Pending charge(s): Third-degree assault; second-degree strangulation; second-degree threatening; first-degree criminal trespass; disorderly conduct; possession of marijuana; possession of drug paraphernalia Police say: On a call of a disturbance at an Elaine Road home, police discovered that Maxwell had entered his companion's home and started to choke her.
