Milford School Budget Presentation Monday
A quick reminder that the Milford Board of Education presents its budget to the Board of Aldermen 7 p.m. Monday night at City Hall.
The school board budget, which is often a topic of a lot of conversations, is less interesting this year because school officials are asking for a 1.55 percent increase, which is the lowest request in a long time.
The main reason for the lower increase is the fact that enrollment is going to drop, as it's forecast to drop by more than 1,000 students over the next decade.
With so many less students what do you think the school system will look like over the next decade? I'd love to know what you think. Please post your comments here or email me at bmccready@nhregister.com
