Jonathan Law students hosting telethon for Sandy victims
TV productions classes at Jonathan Law High School will be hosting a telethon from 7:20 a.m. until around noon to help victims of storm Sandy.
Although not an actual telethon, people can bring in donations to the high school, located on 20 Lansdale Ave.
Special guests will include State Senator Gayle Slossberg, Jonathan Law alumnae, and members of the school administration.
Requested donations include:
- Non-perishable canned food
- Snacks
- Coffee
- Bottled Water
- Clothing
- Coats
- Blankets
- Towels
- Hand warmers
- Diapers
- Toiletries
- Detergent
- Paper Towels
- Store Gift Cards (these are in the highest demand, as many families who are displaced are getting their meals at local restaurants
