Do you think a Hookah lounge should be allowed in Milford?: Take our poll

The Planning and Zoning Board will likely vote on the proposed hookah lounge on Bridgeport Avenue at its meeting next week.

The proposal needs seven out of 10 votes for approval because it's a special exception for the zone area. The board voted down the proposal last time it came to them.

  1. Absolutely! I go to their takeout place all the time. They have great food and are good people. Smoking is allowed in the smoke shop next door, so it's pretty hypocritical to not allow it. No harm would be done to have that lounge there. There are several in Fairfield and they don't cause any problems. The town needs to quit being so close-minded and stop costing this poor business owner more and more money.
