Milford man arrested for shoving police officer

A West Haven man was arrested after shoving a police officer and interfering with police.

Police responded to a disturbance on 50 Daniel Street that involved Allen Crosby of West Haven. Crosby allegedly grabbed on to a police lieutenant's uniform and shoved him several times.

He then continued to be combative with police while they were arresting him, police said. Crosby is charged with breach of peace and two counts of interfering with police. He was released on a promise to appear.
