Milford arrests over the weekend include crack possession and money stolen at Schick
Money, not razors stolen at Schick
A New Haven man is being charged with stealing money from fellow Schick Corporation employees.Police arrested Samuel Thomas, 57, after a five month investigation. Thomas entered a room on two separate occasions and took money from other employees' backpacks, according to police. The total amount stolen was $900.
Thomas was charged with 5th and 6th degree larceny and was released on a promise to appear.
Crack arrest at Woodmont Road Motel
Police arrested two people at a Woodmont Road Motel after observing a suspicious vehicle in the parking lot.
Police investigation revealed that the owner of the vehicle, Steve Fregeau of New Hampshire, was reported as a missing person in his home state.
Fregeau and his passenger, Nicole Kennedy of New Haven, were in possession of crack cocaine and related drug paraphernalia, according to police.
Both were charged with possession of narcotics and possession of drug paraphernalia. They were released on a promise to appear.
Water thrown on spouse leads to arrest
John Piccolo,41, of Milford was arrested after he allegedly splashed water on his spouse and hung up the phone while she was calling police.
Piccolo was charged with disorderly conduct and interfering with police. He was released on a promise to appear.
Man bites employee at restaurant
A Milford man was arrested after she allegedly pushed up against and bit an employee at a Daniel Street restaurant.
Police arrested Jake Sabas, 23, after investigating the incident. He is charged with 3rd degree assault and 2nd degree breach of peace. He was released on a promise to appear.
